Title: Cleaning the greenhouse

I'm approaching the stage where my greenhouse is almost empty and I am looking at preparing it for the winter.

I have grown tomatoes and cucmbers fairly successfully this year apart from some powdery mildew. What I would like to know is the best way of cleaning it to avoid problems next year.

I have seen these sulpher candles you can buy in a small tin - are these any good or would something like jeyes fluid be better?


Any advice would be useful. :)

Jeyes fluid too.. but I'm all for doing things an easier way.. I might look into those sulphur candles, has anyone tried using them?

Doesn't the sulphur candle just kill any bugs?  so you'd still want something to clean the greenhouse?

I use Jeyes too, but I did get a bottle of Armillatox last year to do the polytunnel as you just spray it on and leave it, got most of the greeny tinge off the polythene!!!
