Seems not Sameria  :(

I have looked at a recipe for beech leaf noyau before now and it specified very young leaves.  I would have thought there was too much tannin in oak leaves by this stage of the year, but I am guessing there.

thanks new shoot, looked at some recipes on google... you can use new leaves or later ones..
both make a good wine with a different taste. older leaves have more tannin. also saw a clip from hugh fearnley whittingstall's  a cook on the wild side. were he and a white witch made some...
so got my answer......... :)
