Finished building new improved run (OK it was and old wooden bedframe and the wire left over from the ex-batts run) and move the silkie girls (now called Bramble and Bracken) into it.  Was rewarded this morning by 2 eggs!  Unfortunately they were quite thin shelled and were trodden/pecked before I could get them out  Cue loads more wood shavings in the house and note to self to get up earlier :)

Aww congrats on the eggs :) sure they'll enjoy the run. :) We use hay in our nest area's. :)
Our silkie mum hasn't laid yet i'm assuming because she has 3 chicks 'at foot' as we'd say about horses! lol
