Title: fly's and pecking

I keep my 3 hens in a large  run, I have  two problems  fly's and pecking I have tried ukadex. The A bit and giving them lots to do, ie mirrors, things to peck  and so on. Any further sugestions please.
The big problem at the moment is fly's.I rake out the run evry day and put the mess in the compost bin reserved for chicken poo. no fly's there but lots in run I scrub the house out weekly.

How about putting some bedding down in the run such as Hemp or Aubiose.  You could also sprinkle Stalosan F disinfectant which is highly absorbant and might prevent the fly problem.

How big is the run?

Unusual for UKADEX not to work, its the only thing that works for us if the turkeys start on each other!
