Black patches on peppers
« on: August 30, 2009, 19:01 »
Hi,
I have 1 bell green pepper plant and about 8 small green sweet peppers growing outside and they all seem to have black marks on them. This blackness seems to be part of the vegetable make up rather than a rot of some sort, but they shouldn't have these marks!
Anyone have any idea what they are? Didn't have these problems last year

Thanks

Some of mine looked like this - they then happily turned red, almost as if the colouration was a part of the ripening process , as I've never grown them before can't say whether this is normal!
