 :)hI as anyone experiance on bee keeping as i have just got an allotment in june 2009 and would like to start keeping bees i have no experiance on them at all but willing to learn :tongue2:

Firstly I would find your local association, contact them. Most Associations start beekeeping courses about now. THIS IS A MUST FOR NEWBIES. They will most likely give you a mentor as bees is not like chickens or other pets they is complicated.

how are the bees going?, i have had an allotment since aug 09, it was well overgrown, we have cleared it and planned 2010, and we would love to keep bees there too, also we have no bee keeping experience but it sounds very interesting
