Has anyone experience of growing shallots in growbags? I've popped 9 bulbs in a bag, and the leaves are now around 10 inches high and are starting to split apart into new bulbs. This is the first time I have grown shallots - does this sound right for this stage in the season, or have they been impeded by growing 'em in a bag??

They are fine..thats what they do..save the best for next year when fully ripe

I bunged more than that in each bag when I grew at home and did well so I think they will be fine.  They sound like they are just right for this stage in the season.
