Ahhh ...... thats lovely!
( I couldn't get my cats to cuddle up like that let alone accept a .... walking dinner! )
-
our cats just seem to know what they can eat and what they can't, even the tiniest chick is safe with them, except Sarah, wouldn't leave him alone with a chick
-
Him? Sarah?? ??? Is this the darlington version of a boy named sue???
-
Guess what sex TMG's cat Damien is then......
I love the picture of them all cuddled up together. I think little Carrie is one of the cutest kits ever, she's also got the nicest temperament to go with it :)
I got in the other day to find the cats lined up eating and a chicken in the midddle who had snuck in tucking into their biscuits - none of them seemed to care that this interloper was joining in - then again Martha cat goes out and eats their pellets with them and the neighbours cat tried to eat their pasta with wormer in it today ::) Mine too are fine with chicks, I forgot to lock the run earlier in the year with the light sussex and found Martha in there with them, not attacking but sleeping (I think she may be confused as to what animal she is as she also cuddles up and plays with the rabbits in preference to other cats!) and the other cats all just ignoring the chicks who were running around enjoying their brief freedom from the run.

Great picture TMG
-
lovely pictures
-
that is so lovely!
-
What a fab picture...warms the cockles of ya heart it does
-
Great pics... :D
There is definitely something to be said for introducing them when they are babies. We had the three cats when we got Poo the puppy dog and it was like world war three. We introduced Yogi the kitten to the fold after and him and Poo are great mates. It's so funny when Yogi tries to rugby tackle him.. :D But not so funny when they are chasing each other around the house and land on the bed when your in it... ::)
I think we should mke this the thread to show pics of pets that get on...I lurrv peoples pet pics... 8)
Got any more Rom?
-
awwww what a boootiful piccie!
I did find it funny when I gave the chooks hanging around outside a few bits of bread only to find Remy (one of my cats) eating them!! Revenge for when they try and pile in the back door and pinch his food methinks! :D
-
Sarah can't resist a good box........
even when it's already occupied
(http://i295.photobucket.com/albums/mm134/Toomanygirls58/100_1409-1.jpg)
and when the occupant needs a good wash, it's even better.

Aw thanks for sharing these, really made me smile
-
Oh Rom.. It Looks like he's as soft as a marshmallow....

I can't let Oliver any where near day old ducklings. The poor cat might have a heart attack!!!
They terrify him!!!
Funny thing is he's a good ratter but show him half a handful of yellow fluff and he's off like his tail was on fire!
-
cute little lambs grow into mangy old sheep, Lazarus escaped the slaughter house and is still with us.

yes but Olivers a bit of a wuss isn't he? look how much guts it took him to stalk a bumble bee :D
-
But it did result in one of the cutest cat piccies ever with his bumble bee! Aw TMG that is another lovely pic, I'm also guessing that you didnt give Lazerus his haircut  :tongue2:
-
awwwww! That is so gorgeous! What a lovely puss as well :D :D
-
Poor Oliver is a complete wuss but when you have looks you don't need courage!
I don't really know how a cat manages it but he is the most camp animal I have ever met!
-
Lazarus is cool.. 8)
OH tells me that up the lane near us, one of the smallholders has a pet sheep, it goes for a walk with them and the dog every morning... :D OH has to put poo on his lead, otherwise he'd be pet sheep worrying ::)
Is it me or are our smileys gaining santa hats? ???

some of our lambs get sold at the market and some go in the freezer, Lazarus was destined for the market (we were too fond of him to consider the freezer) but on the morning of market day he hid when we were loading the others up and we had to go without him :tongue2: so now he just sticks around as a pet.

This is our greyhound and a friends miniature dash, the dash is also best buddies with our rotti cross and they play for hours :)
-
aw, that's lovely, i have a photo of my greyhound with a kitten curled up inside his paws, i just can't get it on here tho :(
-
Arnfields, you grey has similar marking to my Bea. So cute.
Bea and 2 of our cats.......
-
Oh Bea is lovely, so nice to see a grey and a cat being pals, wouldn't happen with our two unfortunately!
This is our other grey - Angel, on the sofa as usual! :) And our 'fat lad' Ty, hmmm...he has grown a lot since then!...

Err...and the pics...
-
LOL :D How big is Ty now?
-
Ooo, about this big (spreads arms as far as possible)... ;)
Lol, about 8 and a half stone of cuddly teddybear...also a sofa-hog...
-
Oh, Teddy Bear! :) I love a well mannered Rottie!
-
;)
Yeah - he is a real sweetie, still a bit nervous of new people and some dogs, but so much better than when we first got him. He's a rescue (like all our animals) and had been re-homed twice, spent most of his life in a garage/shed and was terrified of everything - poor boy.
He is chief lap warmer now! :)
-

What a sweetie:)
I wonder if that's a job they take on when they are getting passed around before they find you (the permanent home). My little Terrier was 4 months old when we rescued him and we were his 4th home . He's our chief lap-warmer :D
-
Oh no - 4 homes before finding you
Rotten isn't it, but at least he has found his forever home at last!
The greys are no good as lapwarmers - too bony :tongue2: or is it that we are too bony so they prefer the sofa...hmmm...
We never knew why Ty was so terrified of the world, in some respects I'm glad I don't know what he had to deal with - he's a happy boy now though, Chyna (the white hound) is his fave playmate and he has a very healthy respect for Angel (the black lady) as she is royalty (she thinks) ;)
-
What lovely dogs you have Arnfields!
Bea was described as 'cat friendly' when I got her. I think 'cat tolerant' is a more suitable description!
We had to do a bit of training with her around the cats at first, but she soon decided that she was outnumbered, and they don't bother her at all now.

' Ere, What's snippy doing at your house? ??? :D

...ours have finally got used to Mr Bunny, Ty tries to get him to play :) but a cat in the house, goodness NO!!!
A friend of ours across the canal has two gorgeous greys and they co-habit with her cats with no problems.
Mum's grey isn't too interested in them either - or our chooks, but the Bunny - crikey!
Then there is Uncles grey - will chase anything, do g, cat, squirrel, plastic bag!?!?...
They are all different aren't they - but totally adorable :)
-
So your family are all greyhound lovers then?
:) :)

It seems that way doesn't it! We rescued our two about 5 years ago now, and have been forcing the rest of our family into it ever since :). My Uncle met ours and was smitten in 5 minutes, had only ever had a cat before he got Homer.
My sister however, has got herself a beardy collie - don't know what happened there :)
