Treating/medication
« on: October 01, 2011, 19:52 »
The ex batt chooks have settled in well and seem to be enjoying there new found freedom. I have been getting the hang of handling them and being with them all and I am pleased that it is going well.

As these are ex batts and presume they have had the necessary worm/lice treatments, is there any harm in me doing them again? So I can start and keep my dates in order as to when to routinely treat them...............does that make sense

Worming with flubenvet would be fine as you can re-treat 3 weeks after first treatment for re-infestation.

Don't know about lice treatments, sure someone else will give you good advice on that.

Well done in rescuing your chooks and giving them a loving home.   :)
