Whats eating the corn....?

Whats eating the corn....?

My sweetcorn patch over the plot is being attacked everytime  i go over to check on it something has taken a bite out of a young cob....!!

The cobs are a few weeks off ready yet and something seems to have tested 60% of my crop butt just one bite from each!

Can anybody offer advice on how to protect the corn from whatever is eating it and also offer suggestions on what could be eating it...is it mice or magpies or .....??

i have now netted all around the patch to try and stop birds.

Im worried now mine are few weeks off yet to, with no protection , does everybody et there sweetcorn? any other protection i need? and what do u use against squirrels DD?

Sounds like wildlife pie is on the menu, topped with nibbled corn.  ;)

Mine arent netted either and I didnt grow a 100 either  :wacko:
