My greenhouse is sodden in the mornings - one of the negatives of plastic vs glass perhaps. I don't think the grey mould is far off for me either.

Hellox
newbie here :D I bought my first greenhouse this year

I harvested my last peppers today for my guinea pigs - it is my first ever successful pepper growing year as normally something gets them!

Im going to move the Greenhouse tomorrow (its plastic) as its in my way where it is, then I can sew yet more salads  :D

Applied well rotted manure to the beds and bought 4 bags of Verve compost from B&Q.  125 litre bags.

Clean out time in the bottom greenhouse. Removed the leftovers from last year, binned the over wintered peppers and herbs which had died then watered and fed what was still alive.  I feels very damp and cold in there still this year.

It was yesterday, but the mini plastic greenhouse inside my unheated glass greenhouse has an additional crop to protect.  It now boasts a bucket of water and pond weed with a large clump of frog spawn.  Daft frogs  ::)  I spotted it yesterday and rescued it before the frosty nights killed off all the eggs  :)

Sowed Tomatos Red Alert and St Pierre.

And some scallions.

I know it's early for the Toms but I have access to a heated greenhouse for frost protection...

I've had 3 attempts to clean the bottom GH and it's all still covered in algae   I just sprayed everything with jeyes and left it now. Im a bit too chicken to try the pressure washer but I'm seriously considering one of those water fed scrubbing brush things you see them cleaning windows with.

Still no sign of my sweet-peas or the broad beans it's probably been long enough to worry. I presoaked the peas and chitted the beans (old seeds) so I know they were alive. They were in the last of the been and queued compost though.
100% germination from the radish using bulrush multi in cells, which is nice.
2 padron peppers have also made a show in the heated propagator. They'll go very leggy if the light levels don't improve.

I'm trying to grow less stuff but better this year, and it would be nice to get some salad stuff sorted.

I've used the pressure washer before. Set it to the widest fan you can and start from a fair distance away and gradually move in closer until the grime starts to shift. The algae doesn't take a lot of pressure to knock it off.

Busy weekend ... I've been feeling left behind with all my seeds sat in their packets. The good weather has tempted me into the bottom GH.

Into modules :

Spring onion - Lilia, White Lisbon, Ishikura and Ramrod.
Swiss Chard - Bright lights.
Sweetpea - Early multifloral, heaven scent.
Tomato - Rio Grande, Shirley, Sungold, Black Cherry, Sweet aperitif.
Nasturtium - Princess of India
Marigold - Sparky mix, French
Aubrieta - Royal Red
Cucumber - Marketmore 76 . Early Burpless
Dwarf French Bean - Purple Queen
Beetroot - Bolthardy Detroit Dark Red
Echium - Pininana
Lettuce - Valamiane, Mesclun Mix, Paris Island Cos, Misticanza

Herbs and more flowery things still to sow, but I've misplaced one of my seed boxes  ::)

Potted on some mock orange cuttings which had rooted. I had left them in a family pot outside a couple of years back and I thought they were all dead. I tipped them out to reuse the pot but peeling back the moss and removing the ash / sycamores they're still alive  :D

At the end of last year I put some garlic in pots and I've kept them in the GH since, I noticed rather a lot of flies around them today, I really hope they're not allium leaf miners

Carrots in the recycling box are up.

Sorry couldn't resist it. ;)

I'm trying to grow less stuff but better this year, and it would be nice to get some salad stuff sorted.
Me too- less types and no risky or weird stuff (apart from red heritage corn).  I'm getting boring.
It's feeling really strange playing it slow this year, first set of brassicas all looking ok (found a couple of baby slugs under a pot- keep an eye out!) Detriot dark red coming along, and some early chioggia too.  A few bits and pieces- peas second sowing, salad and just started the cues indoors.  Toms may need redoing after the frost and they got left out in the unheated greenhouse.  Did some early runners today and a courgette or two, got set up  for sowing the pumpkins and corn later this week.  Spuds, garlic, PSB and peas all going well down t'plot.  Nights are due to be cold next week- 4-5 degrees with northerlies. so maybe I'll hold off longer.
I'm not running to keep up this year.  It's weird.  I hope I don't regret it later.....
