Title: Bubble wrap
Post by: Caretaker on May 07, 2012, 10:21
As most of the cold weather has past and am using a electric fan heater at night in a 6x4 greenhouse, do you think i should remove the bubble wrap to let more light in.
I am not worred about the waste as i ordered a large roll of the stuff.
I am home all day to open and close window and the door.

I have made a complete jersey (inside) of bubblewrap for my glasshouse. I made it so that I can roll it up during the summer (with bamboo sticks attached to the bottom, which also helps to make the bubblewrap hang nicely) and let it down in winter/colder days again. It is working very well and my seedlings are looking super. I am not using any heating at all.  :D

I thought that if you left it up it can help to reduce the sunshine getting through as much and reduce leaf burn?
