Hi,
I have been given a bag of Stuttgarter Riesen Onion Sets.
I was planning on planting them around September time to over winter and harvest as bulb Onions in Spring and Early Summer next year.

I know nothing  of this variety and would like to know if they are suitable for growing over winter?
