One of my newly acquired girls has had a prolapse  :(  I've been bathing her and popping it back in...just checking with you all what I should be bathing her with and also is there is anything I should be putting on it/around it????
Thanks all x

I think someone on this link recently used sugar which helped.

Good luck.

Thanks kegs, think I'll try the sugar method, fingers crossed it works!

Wasn't sure if i should be bathing the area with just warm water or adding something to it...I'm sure I've read on a thread of using dilluted dettol...wasn't sure if that sting her???? Don't want to cause her any pain  :(

Well diluted dettol in the water or even a little sea salt (mix with boiled water to dissolve) would help.

Well after a few days of bathing floss with sea salt added and using the sugar method on her prolapse...it does seem to be getting a little better  :)

She's still not to keen on the bathing part but she'd definately enjoying the blow dry afterwards!!!

Might sound a daft question but will it just shrink and stay in when popped back in or will it drop off (sorry sounds awful!) just not sure what to expect.....

been having a similar issue with one of my girls. Noticed on Sunday and held her upside down, washed the are and the prolapse slipped back in. checked again yesterday morning, and after laying an egg it had popped out again. This time as well as washing the area i used haemorrhoidal cream and it seemed to stay in. Check after she had layed this morning at it was still "in" so put some cream on anyway. checked again at lunchtime, still in, just checked and it had popped again.

It does not look quite as angry and as you said does not appear distressed in any way. so like you i will continue to check regularly and see what happens.
