No male flower on sweetcorn
« on: June 27, 2023, 16:38 »
I accidentally snapped the male flower off one of my sweetcorn plants. I was hoping I'd be able to pollenate that plant's sweetcorn with the surrounding flowers. Or is it doomed now the just emerging male flower was jetted off with a stray hosepipe squirt?

AS long they haven't been planted too far apart the pollen should blow over from the other plants. Fingers crossed.
