Every year I grow Defender and am happy with them.  However I was wondering if I should be a bit more adventurous.

Has anyone on the forum got a courgette variety that they like or think is better than Defender? It has to be a variety that is happy grown in a container.

I've grown All Green Bush in a large pot in the past and they';re nice when they are only about 4 or 5 inches long. I don't know if they're better Defender, though, 'cos I've never grown that variety. 
I do remember they needed a big pot and a lot of watering though

I have always grown Black Beauty in half whisky barrels, 2 to a barrel, until this year they have never let me down. I think i may have only had 3 courgettes this year

Or try it from another angle,  which container is best for growing courgettes.
