Hello. I am a new user of this forum. I have been given a vine plant in a small pot. I am seeking advice on how to grow a vine in a container/large pot. Any comments welcome. Thanks.

Do you know what type of vine you have. Some are not suited to our climate but there are others which do very well. The pot needs to be 18" diameter at least so pick a sunny spot because you will have difficulty moving it later. Needs to be trained along wires or similar. Read up on pruning especially in the early years.
