I have Stuttgarter onions planted and leaves are about six inches high and wonder if I should feed them and with what.

Chicken pellets at the start and again now,(or general purpose fertiliser), liquid seaweed fortnightly.  But not when the bulbs are swollen.

Are you growing them under cover for show purposes Jarigo?  I'm not sure if that affects the feeding as I've never grown like this, but it may affect the advice you get  :)
