So for those of you who took Crimson Crush cuttings, or others, how are they doing?

I lost 3 of my armpits to general neglect, but the biggest one has survived an accidental bleach spraying and I have 2 largish sideshoots on it now. They have each grown 15cm in 20 days. There are stirrings at some of the other leaf junctions, so am hoping a few more might emerge.

I might not have needed to buy back up seed after all!

I'm afraid my crimson crush have succumbed to lack of care.

However, I'm not that bothered because I wasn't impressed by the flavour.

Not only that but none of my plants go blight at the allotment this year so I have no way of knowing whether the Crimson Crush were any better.

Finally, after I'd picked the green tomatoes from the allotment and put them on the side to green up, they ALL developed blight (some worse than others). The problem is that I'd mixed up the Crimson Crush and other varieties by that stage so I don't know if the ones that were less blighted were the Crimson Crush.

So I'm afraid the solution goes back to "no tomatoes at the allotment".

We still have one single plant going on the window sill, but it doesn't seem very happy at present...

But it's still alive, and perhaps a new pot might help it!

I've got 7 very leggy plants which I have just taken the armpits from and now I have 6 new little plants.  That was 5 days ago and they haven't wilted yet. So I'm hopeful of growing at least one to fruition.
