Title: few trusses on tomatoes
Post by: shedgirl on June 11, 2011, 08:55
Can anyone give advice please? Last year had great crop of tomatoes in conservatory and in garden, but this year plants hardly have any trusses, some have no flowers, and many are quite leggy with spindly main stem.
Does anyone know what might have happened? Thanks.

Mine are the same, but Im not sure why, they have reached the top of the geenhouse and only have 2 or 3 trusses each

When did you start them off and where have they been growing?  Sounds as though they might have been started too early and got leggy with insufficient light / too much warmth at too early a stage.
