Hooray for a sunny day so I could spend a few hours down the plot and actually pick some of the stuff that's been growing!!.



6 1/2 lbs of spuds (Kestrel) The first of the year, from just 2 plants, I'm happy with that yield, and only 1 with minor slug damage, and most are a good size.
4 baby beets - the first of the year too, just thinning out the crowded ones, but golf ball size so all good.
2 lb 11oz runners ( I can feel a chutney coming on, never done one before)
the last few sugar snaps & mange tout
almost a lb of peas
3 courgettes
1/2 lb of french beans.

Thanks all, I think the chutney will be tomorrow afternoon when the downpour is forecast, and after I've tucked in to my harvest.
