Title: Hello from Derbyshire
Post by: Pikemanmark on March 03, 2020, 15:01
Hello All.

So I have taken the plunge and got myself a plot. I know absolutely nothing about growing stuff or in fact what to grow. So I checked out the pages here and now I am on the forum so I hope I can find help and advice around.

I have bought the vegetable growing month by month so at least I have something to aim at.

The plot I have has some work to do on it but most of it is fruit sticks, apple and pear trees and beds of strawberries. which means I can concentrate on just a small patch to begin with.

Looking forward to learning and growing within the forum
Kind Regards
Mark

Hi and welcome  :)

Getting a plot with a lot of established fruit could be quite a bonus.  Soft fruit in particular is very expensive to buy and doesn't need that much work.  You can always take some of it out down the line, if you decide you would rather have space for more veg  :)
