Onion seedlings, what next

I have planted some onion seeds and they have grown, what do I do with them next, do they need to be transplanted into pot's ?

Yes, they can be potted on into pots or larger, individual modules. Easy on the watering, move them to a slightly cooler spot in good light.

tryed last year to grow from seed,,,takes ages ,couldnt be bothered,,,,
sticking to the sets now

Same here,we tryed mamoth onions from seed and it was so fiddly,the sets threw up a great harvest,the seeds were the size of shallots.

Don't give up on Seeded Onions, these were sown Directly I think late April......

My soil is quite sandy, and the picture was taken late August.

That sounds a lot easier than sowing into modules.I think I will give it a go this year.I usally just plant onion sets.

when replanting my onion seedlings do i bury them a bit deeper, or at the same level ?
