My 2 girls (light suss banties) have been broody and sharing a clutch of Australorp banty eggs for 2 weeks. I candled them last night and there nowt in them :cry: .
What should I do now - options are:
Kick them off - seems cruel as they've sat well for 2 weeks (1 has done 3 weeks as I wanted to see if she was serious)
Let them sit for another clutch (of less expensive banty eggs not involving post :roll: ) but 1 of them is quite thin already - could she cope.
Or buy a couple of cheep (!) day olds not sure where to get them (does anyone know if county shows have stock for sale, its Devon County a week saturday?)
Any help gratefully received as I'm in a right pickle about it!
