Can I use this as roofing for gh?
« on: August 13, 2014, 22:26 »
I am trying to get round to making the shed/gh water tight and have found this

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251183957807?var=550196703344

Would this be
a) A thick enough gauge and would it last more than a season?
b) What would be the best way to attach it to the rafters?
I have used the corrugated plastic panels before, but due to weather and yob damage they all cracked and I'm finding it too expensive to redo. Any other suggestions welcome

Thanks,
Dmg

If it is not treated to sustain UV exposure it will only last 1 or 2 seasons. Can you get some horticultural plastic sheeting, I paid about £40  5 yrs ago for a piece big enough to roof my 8ft x 16ft  green house and also make several cold frames and there is still a fair bit left over to do any repairs needed.
