I make a lot of jams chutneys etc but have never used kilner jars.

I came across 6 of them yesterday (Ravenhead Kilner)in a charity shop for £1.00 each and couldn't leave them there.  They are .5 litre size with a red plastic lid.

 Does anyone here own the same type and if so, where do you purchase your seals from. I,ve looked online and they are quite expensive and don't want to buy the wrong ones.

Thanks Mum, the second site looks favourite as they are old type jars with old measurements.

  I also have some  Ravenhead Kilner jars. Bought 6 2nd hand - 3 complete and 3 with no glas insert or plastic screw top or rubber seals.

Have found a website selling all replacements for these.

Cost of replacements might be more for the 3 jars than buying new so am going to look into that.
