I thought I would show you some photos of my little garden. I thought it was coming along ok, as I have cleared the brambles, bindweed, etc. When my boyfriend saw the photos he said it looked like a bomb site. Having looked at the pics again, I guess he could be right..........

A bit more digging and sorting I think!  :D

Lovely dry stone wall there lotty!

It looks great considering what was in there! hard work getting rid of that lot..and I should know!
Now remember to take photos of all the rest of the work, so we can see the finished result

I think you need all the support you can get, but remember its always darkest before dawn, and I think you've got the beginnings of a lovely garden.  Good Luck.  Mrs Bouquet

ah yes, but bomb site compared to what?  Its all relative.  I look at my neighbours plots (and gardens!) and think I really should crack on with mine.  then I look at what I started with and think, they're not that bad really!

I guess that when I think about it, 4 weeks ago there were 5ft tall weeds and brambles and you couldn't see anything else! So, all things considered, perhaps things are coming along quite well!

I didn't ever think I would actually enjoy digging quite so much!  :D

And then there is the planning.... I'm finding it all very satisfying.

Sorry, no pics before I started. I didn't think to take any. Doh.

It was only after coming on here that I thought to take any photos.

Gardening is very much like eating an Elephant.

You can't do it all in one go......

It all looks good to me. Just keep chiseling away at it.... :D

Looks lovely! I really like the drystone wall... pack those nooks and crannies and you'll have yourself a veritable bundle of things growing in them. Hope you enjoy yourself on there, very jealous.
