Hello Folks, Popping in to say hi and looking forward to the advice on these forums, first year growing my grub. hope to find this informative, helpful and as always share my experiences as a complete novice  ;)

Hello,
From the East of Scotland.

Remember a lot of books and advice comes from the south of England, so don't feel bad if your not planting at the same rate as what seems like everyone else. Watch your fellow plot holders instead who know your latitude.

Hi dad!
Another welcome from E Scotland - not that you're a great deal closer for planting times, given the E-W differences!

Anyway, one of the things I like about this site - and John's books - is that there's no assumption you're in the south of England, or even in the UK at all.
