Title: New chicks, hatched this morning

I have some new chicks hatched this morning. A couple are still hatching but I thought id share the pics with you.

Hatched in this homemade incubator, using the velleman thermostat kit from maplin.

Post by: nuzuki on June 09, 2012, 17:36: They were from a mixed batch of ebay eggs so are not pure breds but a hybrid/mix of pure breds from what I can tell. We have another 2 hatched this morning, one is still in the incubator the other has been moved to the brooder. So 3 in the brooder, 1 in the incubator, another egg showing signs of hatching in the incubator and then another 6 eggs in the incubator that were put in a day later than these lot that have just hatched. If anyone would like to know the seller on ebay it was mikeCBR600 something. So his eggs are fertile but not pure breds. Thanks for the kind words people :) I'll get some more pics up of the new arrivals hopefully this evening
