Hoping a lot of manure will help mine! Only have the 1 'big' pumpkin growing now but its massive already and only has 1 true leaf so far!

Can you count me in. I'm a bit late, so no doubt every one is way ahead of me, but I've just remembered the McMillan charity pumpkin seed I got off lacewing earlier this year.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

I heard that dropping them in boiling water for ten minutes stimulates even the most reluctant seed to germinate. ;)
