Title: Long Handle Garden Edging Shears
Post by: mrs bouquet on September 29, 2018, 15:52
They seem to be coming apart !   I wondered if a wing nut or something had come off,  but there doesn't seem to be anything missing.   What could have happened, and can I mend them ?   Thanks,  Mrs Bouquet

hello some makes of long handled shears have a Allen bolt into a nut others are nuts and bolts the Allen bolt ones usually have something called a wave washer between the blades to keep them under tension if a twig or stones got jammed in the blades this washer can collapse and make the blades feel loose contact manufacture if known to see if parts are available    jezza
