Erm not much more I can add really, the title says it all.

I sowed them direct. The larger leaves on the Raddish look green and okay but the smaller lower ones are yellowish. The turnip seedlings have only just come up.

Should I be doing something about it?

Were they on the dry side Jake??  

Raddishes are by nature thirsty on the water ... as would be the turnips to make them swell !  :roll:  

Did you put them in together or separate??

I've been continually sowing raddish and the turnip seedlings were sown all at once.

They are ok now but I think you might be right. We had a very dry april and we've got very well drained soil. We've had a wet may so I guess thats why they're ok.
