Anyone got electricity wired up in their plot??

I was thinking about enquiring about getting electricity wired up in my plot and was wondering if anyone on here has it?? My plot is quite close to houses so the cables must be close. I expect it would cost quite a bit. Anyone got it, and what channels did you go through to get it and how much did it cost???

No, but the first plot I ever had had a concrete shed with a coin operated electric meter, but it was already disconnected when I took it over, but there was an iron & ironing board in the shed !
