Title: Moving Rhubarb
Post by: cudders on December 28, 2007, 15:20
Hi chaps,

I've fond two heads of Rhubarb amongst some nettles. I would like to move them but wondered if this is a good idea? Are the roots systems delicate and deep or shallow?

They have many 'buds' showing so I assume they are an early variety?

Thanks

Cudders

Now is the time to move them. They are deep rooted & tough as old boots, so you shouldn't have a problem.

My rhubard is sprouting well and ahead of all others, so I guess we must have an early variety.
