polytunnel onions

Hi all,, I have hada good clean out of the polytunnel and rearranged it so i have a bit more growing space,, added a couple of raised beds down the center,, the plan is to use the tunnel for bringing on seedlings ect which the area to the right as been reserved,,
so leaves a raised bed to the left and the newly constructed beds down the center,, at the mo I still have peas, toms, peppers and chillis in the left hand bed,,.
but my main question is I still have some oven winter onion sets that I can either put outside or put in the new beds in the poly,,  will they do ok in the poly?
 as i have a little concern with my outside area in respect of the onions being ready before other stuff needs to go in..

or any other ideas to put the new beds to use?
