Potatoe problem

My potatoes flowered a couple of weeks ago and have now all floped over and some leaves are turning yellow with brown patches on? is this normal? (soory first time at growing them?

Sounds like normal maturity to me.

What variety are they?
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

to be honest I aint sure as I was given them by a neighbour who was given them by someone else (sorry not much help :-()  Should I just leave them in ground or dig them all out now?

I'd be inclined to dig them up before slugs etc. get into them. They certainly won't grow any more!
