Lucky you....have never been able to grow it without it bolting!

Same here, if that's any consolation.  A couple used and harvested, by which time all the rest run to seed.  :roll:

Cheers for the soup idea - I think we may go that way - and perhaps try a few experiments in blanching

I planted in September - in between so called winter lettuce that went straight to seed and claytonia - the bed looks very strange now being full of pak choi and the odder looking claytonia!!
