Courgettes not pollinating

I have about 5 courgette plants with flowers on but most the flowers are dropping off - only 1 has turned into a courgette. How do I get them pollinated - can I do it manually, if so how?

take pollen from male flowers (thin stems) and put into female flowers (fat stems) wth a paint brust or similar!!!
