would it be safe to use steralised peatmoss on the floor of a raised chicken coop as i would like to use it next year for growing my tomatoes in  i would appreciate any info thanks               bocker :blink:

I suspect this might be dusty and won't stay sterile long, and I'm not sure about it's mould susceptibility so I wouldn't use this as bedding.  Stick with either Hemcore or a softwood flake such as Snowflakes which is reasonably absorbant and sterile.
