I built a chicken coop

and I am purring with pride about it...its only tiny, for 3 polands, but it took ages to build, and I lost the use of my left hand building it...but it has a little door and netting on top and my polands looked so good strutting about in it :)

I will have to upload pictures. Thats how proud I am :)

I will tomorrow, its dark at the moment. :).

:D. I have never built anything out of wood before....not DIY experiance at all :tongue2:. My dad helped me with the first panal but I did most of it...

...I offically hate chicken wire ¬.¬

The fox doesnt come into the garden...the dogs see to that...although I have caught her eyeing my ex batts recently.

Just in case I am going to put wire across the bottom too :)

Well done Thingy, but you really will have to look out for that fox as chicken wire keeps chickens in, it doesn't keep foxes out!

Weldmesh is better.

Is the run just temporary?  Because its a bit small.

Yes, its temporary. Can you imagine when they get all big and beautiful, living in that run :).

I just needed to knock something together before uni

Just as I said the thing about our fox, I saw her run over a field and into her den. She is beautiful :). Then again I saw a wild rat the other day and I thought he was beautiful :)

Thank you all for the nice comments. I am still purring away with pride at it and the Polands love it :). I will probably extend it at Christmas :)
