Well, I thought yesterday would be a good day to try out the Merry Tiller, as there had been plenty of overnight rain.  The machine worked fine, the problem is, I didn't :shock:
I have Parkinson's and unfortunately I found the machine too heavy to handle.  As far as rotovators go, it would not be classed as heavy, just too heavy for me.  So I have taken the plunge and gone for a Mantis, having read about how light they are.  I have looked at all the reviews of them on the net, and have not seen one bad word about them, quite the opposite really.  So I am looking forward to getting that, hopefully tomorrow, and trying it out.
Meanwhile, the Merry Tiller has found it's way into the Friday-Ad, to try and find a new owner.
Will report on the Mantis in due course.

I've just got a Mantis, it's very small & light & to be honest I was a little sceptical about whether it would cope with my new root infested patch, but I was very pleased, infact quite astounded by the performance of the little monster  
I don't think you'll be disappointed
