Do I just need to blanche broad beans to freeze them?

Also, is it possible to freeze courgettes and if so how?  If I cant freeze them does anyone have any ideas for preserving them as I have just been given loads.

Sorry - I have just looked properly at the other threads and there are lots of ideas for courgettes.  

I just need to know if I can freeze them.

There's nothing to stop you freezing courgettes, but you'll be a bit limited as to what you can do with them when you use them, as they are full of water and turn rather mushy.

Perhaps for soups, or in stews - some people have suggested roasting them direct from frozen, though I don't know how successful that would be.

you can freeze broad beans with out any blanching as long as the have not been picked more than 3 hours. sorry cant help with the courgettes.
