Advice please, I have a couple of  8week old chicks, I have been feeding them on chick crumb, but now need to put them onto growers pellets, unfortunately I cant get any locally and was advised to go straight to layers pellets. Whats the general opinion on this?

no don't put them on layers the mix is wrong. If necessary keep them on chick crumb for a while longer and get a pet store to order your growers in
