Mould bark mulch

Ive got an open bag of bark thats been sat around for a year and on inspection its got quite alot of white mould growing on it.  If i used it on the lottie am i asking for disaster?

Originally i was going to use it as a mulch around my toms and cucumbers are they likley to catch some horrible disease?

The mould is just a sign of the rotting down of the bark, nothing to worry about but as  previously stated , don't use on the beds containing food plants. It robs nitrogen from the soil as part of the decomposing cycle.
