Why is it...?

...that:

1) when you've got loads of Courgette di Nizza seeds which cost next to nothing in Lidl, are out of date, and which although are incredibly prolific you don't actually like that much, and only 3 Defender courgette seeds (in date, costing 10 times as much), that all 3 of the di Nizza's sown germinate, but only one of the Defenders?

2) Having decided not to 'cheat' by buying supermarket pots of growing parsley to transplant because it's such a faff trying to separate them, you sow your 4-year old packet of seeds quite thickly, not expecting anything to happen, but finish up with more than you would have from the supermarket?

 ::)  :mad:  :lol:

Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older

I was just thinking similar today  :) Those few seeds you sow 1st round that should do well, but actually do nothing. So you then sow the rest of the packet and near enough all of them decide to grow. Then just to top it off you are one of those people that hates slinging perfectly fine plants  >:(
