I changed up £10 of Clubcard vouchers into £30 of T&M vouchers a couple of weeks ago, and bought 20 crowns (5 each of 4 different types).  I was very surprised when they arrived last week (T&M sometimes take their time), just have to dig, dig, dig now...

I bought mine from Kings Seeds about three years ago and they've done very well. However, they don't sell the variety I bought any more, Gijnlim. I bought Gijnlim because it's an all male F1 so no pesky smaller female spears with berries.

Can anyone notice a difference in the strength of flavour between the male and female? My family actually prefer the smaller spears. Its like a mass scramble like who gets the marble sized new potatoes 

I read in a recent magazine where Bob Flowerdew had responded to a question saying you should mark the females and look after them and exhaust the males with the aim to plant more females. This is the first time I have ever heard someone promoting an all female bed. Anyone else come across this?
