This is what I did, the sausages were an 8 pack, so fried them off, then red onion, then the peppers and garlic
Then quickly fried the potato chunks I had already par-boiled. Rinsed a tin of chick peas and same with mixed pulse beans, put it all in a roasting tray with a tin of chopped toms. Added, lots of black pepper, mixed herbs, and some cloves. Then 3 heaped teaspoons of Ras Al Hanout. Gave it all a good gentle mix and settled the sausages in, and popped it in the oven for about 45 minutes.
At this point there was a lot of washing up !!. But the meal was scrummy, and there is enough for at least the next couple of night, which I shall eat cold (I like it cold).
This morning I had to clean the hob, and the oven
. I have given this story chapter and verse, because it is not often I do a lot of prep. !!!! So I was pleased with myself. Mrs Bouquet
