nest box

Hi all.
Have any of you used wool as a lining in nesting boxes?
In work we are having wool as an insulating material keeping stock protected and at an even temp.
I like to re purpose things where possible and know I could use in the garden but thought it might be useful in the hen's boxes.

Found it is not a good idea. the rodents loved the material, the hens did not!
