We have 7 very healthy chilli plants (Cayenne) in the greenhouse, lots of flowers many chillies starting to grow but also lots of greenfly.

I have african marigolds in the greenhouse but they don't seem to be making any difference (mind you I only have 4 plants).

Other plants, beans, cabbages etc I have sprayed with soap solution to clear flies etc can I do this with chillies - will they stand up to the soap solution? The reason I ask is that I sprayed broadbeans with soap solution and where it landed the leaves were "burned".

If soap solution cannot be used then please do you have any other ideas.

As long as it's a weakened non scented soap
mix they will be fine.

Agreed with breathecoss...the cayenne have been great with me this year, as long as you dont make it too strong
