Would it be ok to grow a late and an early variety right next to each other, or should that be avoided due to cross pollination risk? I知 trying to extend my season. Last year they all came on at the same time.it would be tricky space-wise to separate them. Thanks for any advice.

If one variety is late and another early, they would be less likely to cross pollinate. That would really only be a problem if you were seed saving for next year.

If just planting for food and not seed, I actually suggest planting the 2 varieties in alternating rows or hills. This would allow the corn a better chance to wind pollinate across your corn plot.

It is often recommended not to grow different types of sweetcorn near each other i.e. not a 'sweet' near a 'supersweet' variety.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
